Bjørn about Per:

Per is the big brother.

He doesn't know how to cook. He can't even get the coffee right. But fortunately he knows how to do the dishes, but hey - so do our dogs..

bruno

Along on the trip we've got two greenland-dogs, Bruno and Qoffert. They are two healthy and happy dogs getting the best of care at Tinka's kennel. Bruno is the oldest, age a bit uncertain as he is an incomer to the kennel, but Katinka, the owner assumes he is around 8 years old.He already has some experience from expeditions, having participated on an expedition in Canada in his younger days. Our impression of Bruno is that he has a mild temper, is balanced, focused, proud, but above all probably the most cosy dog in the world.

Qoffert is a young bitch (female dog). She is full of energy and is also very strong. What she is lacking in experience she fully compensates with her initiative and willingness to learn. When out walking with Bruno she learns constantly, often imitating what he does. Being both a bitch and a bonnie lass she's quite flirty and teases Bruno when he's in the soft corner. It surely will be a hard time keeping them separated when nature demands it!

hundetekstBefore starting the expedition we're very happy with the dogs that will keep us with company during our journey. There will be lots of fun and cuddling, although we're also prepared for some hard days when simply don't speak the same language...

Little they know at the moment what lies ahead of them during the coming months. The same might actually apply to us as well...
