About walking through Norway from the North to the South;

In the beginning of July 2006 a dream will be realised. It has been on a thought-basis for some years now, and finally the moment for it has come! About half a year in the Norwegian wilderness is waiting for us! This will be by far the longest trip, in distance and in time we’ve embarked on until now! Lots of twopounders are to be tricked, both with fly and tackle, lots of bonfires will be made and give light and warmth during the nights of summer and winter, and unknown quantities of coffee will be brewed, mostly in the black-kettle on the fire; coffee as it should be made that is. There are many purposes of the trip, but the main purpose of them all is to enjoy life!

The expedition is called “Experience Wilderness; the meaning of mountain-trout and black-kettle”, reflecting our motivation for the trip. Through the course of the trip, we will share some of our experiences with you, posting both pictures and written additions to the page now and then. Of course, if any of you want to join us for a stretch or two, you’re most welcome, but be sure to bring your own tent, reindeer-sausage and fishing-luck!

We will start the journey in the far north of Norway in july 2006 at a place called Grense Jakobselv, by the Russian border. Then we will slowly make our way south until we reach Linesnes which is the southernmost place in Norway.

Greetings from Per and Bjørn
